Tomorrow evening, Tuesday, October 2nd, at 7:00 p.m., Seabury will have its annual Curriculum Night. Please come to the classroom from 7:00 until 7:45. At that time we will all go to the Multi-purpose room and have coffee, tea and cookies for 15 minutes. Mrs. Wollum will say a few words regarding curriculum and the future of Seabury. I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow evening.

SPELLING TEST TOMORROW !!

Homework for my Math Class:
Blue sheet "Fraction of " Problems. We completed #4 "a" , "b", and "c" in class today. Students have ONLY # 14 to do and ONLY to spend 20 minutes on it. It is a two step process. First answer the question, "What is 1/2 of 25 ?" and then, "Explain". Students must answer how they arrived at the answer. REMEMBER: ONLY 20 minutes.
Also math students are to play cards with their parents tonight, only if it fits into the family's evening plans. Parents are to play a multiplication game with their child where each player shows one card (similar to WAR) and then the student must say what the answer is if the two cards are multiplied together. For instance: 8 on one card and 7 on another card. The child would say 8x7 is 56. The child gets to keep the cards only if the multiplication is correct. In this game, Jacks are 11, Queens are 12, Kings are 13 and Aces are 14. Or you can have Aces 11 and all face cards equal to 10. It's up to you. Have fun with this and Multiply, Multiply, Multiply!!!
